REINDEER BROWNIES

6 brownies
prep time 10 mins .

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (vegan butter)
  • 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 3 flax eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup melted Enjoy Life Allergy Friendly Ricemilk Chocolate
  • GF Pretzels (for antlers)
  • Candy eyes
  • Red candies (for the nose, YumEarth, is an AF choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8 or 9-inch round baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the pure maple syrup until well combined.
  3. Add the flax eggs and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Pour in the melted butter and maple syrup mixture, stirring until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the melted chocolate until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan.
